Guests visiting Holly River State Park may choose from among ten completely furnished cabins for their stay (five 2-person and five 4-person cabins). Constructed of either natural stone and/or logs, they are located in a peaceful setting of rhododendron and sturdy hemlock through which courses a small stream feeding Laurel Fork. Our cabins are some of the many Legacy Cabins in West Virginia's state park system.
Cots and cribs are available at a nominal fee and may be reserved in advance to avoid a handling charge.
Cabins open the first Friday in April to the last Monday in November.
Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m.
Dogs and cats are permitted in a limited number of cabins, call for reservations with pets.
Holly River State Park is rolling out a 'vacation plan' in 2015 for folks looking to linger longer at one of West Virginia's most cherished state parks – Holly River. Because budgets are often tighter for families with children, heck for people in general, we've created a payment plan to make vacationing in one of our Legacy cabins easier on the family wallet.
Guests reserving a Holly River cabin for a week, seven consecutive days, will not be required to pay the required 50% deposit in advance. Reservations for a weekly rental (seven consecutive nights) will only require a $100 deposit in advance, and the customer will work out a payment plan for up to five individual payments with the staff at Holly River, so when you arrive, you're balance is paid or it is a low balance due upon arrival. Call the office to learn more about the Vacation Payment Plan. We think Holly River is one of best places for a 'Workin' Man-Workin' Woman Vacation' destination, anywhere. We hope our payment plan helps with your vacation planning.
